On October 29th restaurants, schools, food distributors, co-ops, supermarkets, state government and other commercial buyers are coming together in one place to connect with Vermont’s food producers.

This is your chance to explore options for selling to larger scale buyers through one-on-one conversations that you schedule based on who you want to connect with.

The Matchmaker is an event for anyone planning to expand to larger markets, anyone currently selling wholesale who wants to expand their clients, and anyone with surpluses who wants to learn where large quantities can be sold.

During the day you will be able to

  • Choose from a list of buyers to set up one-on-one meetings and learn what they are interested in purchasing.
  • Learn what resources exist to help you sell to a larger market.
  • Participate in optional workshops on distribution, regulations, pre-season planning, and tracking local foods sales.
  • Network with others from Vermont and the greater New England area.

There is no cost to attend. But please register.

All events take place at the Three Stallion Inn in Randolph, Vermont. The Three Stallion Inn is located just off I-89 in Randolph. Take Exit 4 for Randolph, and travel east towards downtown (away from Vermont Technical College). Approximately 2 miles from the Interstate, look for Stock Farm road on your left. Follow this road 0.5 miles to the Inn.
